There are three main thicknesses of graphite sheets used in the market, namely 17um, 25um, and 40um, which can be customized from 17um to 70um. The specifications of the release film adhered to different thicknesses also vary. In the entire graphite rolling process, PET release film is used as a carrier to adhere to the graphite rolling. The release film and graphite sheet are rolled by rollers to ensure a solid bonding and prevent layering.
The release film rolling used for graphite rolling can be divided into single-layer rolling and double-layer rolling. Single layer rolling refers to placing the fired graphite sheet directly on top of the re release film. The release film and graphite sheet are rolled by rollers, allowing the graphite to be coated with the release film before being rolled into a roll.
Double layer rolling refers to placing the fired graphite sheet directly on top of the release film, and then compounding a lighter and heavier release film on the graphite sheet, all three of which are rolled. After pressing, peel off the light release film and finally roll it up.
