Release paper is a type of anti sticking paper that prevents the adhesion of prepreg and also protects the prepreg from contamination. Release paper is made of paper coated with anti stick substances, and its models should be distinguished based on material, thickness, elongation, and differences between single and double sides.
Release paper should meet the following requirements: it can adhere to the prepreg, but it is easy to separate the two; Not reacting chemically with or contaminating the resin system; When there is a change in environmental temperature and humidity, the length and width of the release paper should be kept constant to avoid causing the release paper to wrinkle and causing the prepreg to wrinkle; It should have sufficient density to prevent moisture from entering the prepreg through it; After being pulled, the elongation of the release paper should be consistent with the fiber to prevent deformation or distortion of the prepreg during the preparation process due to asynchronous stretching; Its thickness and mass per unit area are difficult to accurately control.
Purpose:
(1) Glasin (the base paper is Glasin) silicone paper: resistant to high temperature, moisture and oil, generally used in food industry packaging.
(2) Ordinary release paper: It is moisture-proof and oil-resistant, serving as a barrier for products. It is suitable for industries such as electronics, automotive foam, printing, etc. It is mostly used with adhesive materials, especially tape. Therefore, release paper is generally used for products that require tape.
(3) PVC wallpaper, PVC leather coating foam process to undertake the role.
