Die cutting is a highly accurate operation in our assembly line work. Even if some problems occur, they can affect the final effect of the product, leading to problems in the produced product. The common problem we encounter is static electricity in the single-sided release film.

Static electricity mainly generates static electricity on the surface of an object through friction or certain behaviors. Static electricity, like its name, is a static charge. We will discuss this issue with you.

Danger of static electricity:

1、 Static electricity can easily cause electric arcs or sparks. If there are flammable substances in the production or surrounding areas, it is very likely to cause a fire, such as near the coating machine, which is prone to these hazards.

2、 Static electricity can absorb dust and fine hairs from the surrounding air, which can reduce the cleanliness of the product surface.

3、 The generated static electricity will also be adsorbed inside the product, causing the release film to stick too tightly to the surface of the product, making it difficult to separate during use and posing a risk of being electrocuted.

4、 Excessive static electricity can cause the release film to stick together, which can increase the workload of the operation.

How to handle the issue of electrostatic discharge in release membranes:

1. During the production process, using an electrostatic elimination rod can solve the problem of static electricity in the release film.

2. If the release membranes stick together and are difficult to separate, the pressure on the release membranes can be increased, so that they can be easily separated.
